Between 15 and 18 May 2024, Milan became the epicenter of the global vending industry, hosting the latest edition of Venditalia. Organized by Venditalia Servizi, the event took place in the trendy Fieramilano Rho district.
Venditalia was not just a simple trade fair, but a global platform that brought together industry operators to connect, learn and evolve in the vending sector on an international level.
This edition was strongly oriented towards the future, proposing a unique exhibition center for the functionality of the spaces, the diversity of services and its accessibility.
With an exhibition area of 32,000 m2, 300 exhibitors (of which 26% international) and approximately 15,000 visitors (31% international) from 100 countries, Venditalia 2024 proved to be the most important vending fair in the world.
Diversity of exhibitors at Venditalia 2024
Venditalia 2024 brought together a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers from the vending industry, offering an impressive variety of products and solutions. The event was attended by producers of coffee in all its forms – in beans, capsules and single doses – who presented their latest innovations. Equipment manufacturers also displayed various espresso machines, from those for the home and office to those for public institutions and even vending machines.
Furthermore, among the exhibitors there were producers of instant products such as chocolate, milk, cappuccino and tea, thus responding to the different needs of vending consumers. Manufacturers of accessories and spare parts were also present, as well as those offering solutions for water purification and different types of glasses. All these product categories have contributed to creating a complete and innovative panorama of the vending sector, demonstrating the evolution and adaptability of this sector to modern needs.
Among the important producers and distributors present at Venditalia 2024 we can list: Gruppo Evoca (Necta, Saeco, Gaggia, Wittenborg), Lavazza, Ristora, Moak, General Vending, Caprimo, Borbone, Filicori, Flo, Laqtia, Lollo Caffe, Fas, Rhea, Bianchi and Gerhardt. For the first time, Chinese manufacturers were also present and displayed automatic devices at more affordable prices.
Domestic automatic espresso machines were missing, but in their place there were capsule and single-serve machines, available in various shapes and sizes. Popular systems such as Nespresso, A Modo Mio, Dolce Gusto, FAP, Blue, Firma and Caffitaly have captured the attention of visitors.
In addition to coffee, the exhibit offered a wide variety of vending machines for cold drinks and snacks, along with specific products intended for these vending machines. Italy is an important manufacturer of bakery products for this type of device.
Lavazza has focused its attention on Firma capsules, launching new capsules specifically designed for the office environment. Visitors had the opportunity to taste assortments such as Crema e Gusto, Qualita Oro and the new Paulista and Qualita Rossa capsules. Furthermore, Lavazza underlined its commitment to sustainability through the new vending project, Tierra Bio Organic for the Planet.

The new vending machines, renewed and with new names, were presented at the Necta stand. These include new machines in the Barista series such as the Barista 200, which replaced the classic Colibri, the Barista 300, which replaced the Brio 3, and the Barista 500, which replaced the Kikko, and the list goes on. All of these new state-of-the-art machines come with 13.3-inch touch screens.
The vending machines for cold drinks and snacks are now part of the Necta Gusto range, which includes models 6, 8 and 10, depending on the size and number of products sold.
Venditalia 2024 has once again proven to be the reference event in the global vending sector. From innovations showcased by industry leaders such as Lavazza and Necta, to the impressive diversity of products and equipment on display, the exhibition provided an essential platform for connections, learning and development.
The presence of international producers and the launch of projects dedicated to sustainability have underlined the importance of this rapidly evolving sector. Milan was, for a few days, the meeting point for all vending enthusiasts, highlighting future trends and establishing new standards in the sector.
