How to prepare coffee at home to obtain a special taste and aroma

To enjoy delicious and satisfying coffee, follow a few simple steps:

  1. Choose fresh coffee: Choose whole or freshly ground coffee beans before brewing. The aromas are better preserved in whole beans and are released better when ground.
  2. Grind your coffee correctly: If you use a coffee grinder at home, adjust it based on the brewing method you choose. For espresso you will need a finer grind, while for filtered drinks like coffee or mocha, you will need a coarser grind.
  3. Respect the correct proportions: use an appropriate quantity of coffee based on the quantity of water. We usually recommend a ratio of around 2 teaspoons of coffee for every 160-180ml of water, but you can change these proportions to suit your taste preferences.
  4. Quality water: Use fresh, clean water to brew coffee. The quality of the water can influence the final taste of the coffee.
  5. Find your preferred brewing method: There are many methods to prepare coffee, such as the espresso machine, the classic coffee maker, the infusion or the filter coffee. Choose the method that best suits your tastes and available equipment.
  6. Experiment with extraction time: Extraction time can affect the taste and strength of the coffee. Try adjusting the cooking time to your preferences to get the desired flavor and intensity.
  7. Try variations: If you like adding milk or sweeteners to your coffee, experiment with different types and quantities to get the perfect combination for you.
  8. Enjoy every cup: savor freshly brewed coffee, enjoying its special aroma and taste.

By properly brewing coffee at home, you can get a delicious and satisfying drink that will give you a good start to the day and a pleasant experience throughout the day.
