After having explained in the previous article the reasons why you should stop buying packaged «branded» coffee in supermarkets or other physical or online stores and switch to freshly roasted coffee, I return with a «map» of bakeries in Romania and beyond. If we support the cause of real coffee (freshly roasted coffee), we must together make a list of places where you can buy quality coffee in Romania! Don’t forget, to fully benefit from the aromas of freshly roasted coffee, you must purchase IN BEANS and grind the necessary quantity, immediately before use. Otherwise it will be a coffee like any other or maybe something better. I say this so as not to prick up my ears, because he wanted to make an espresso and he didn’t really have the cream, with ground coffee from the pastry shop.
I have a BIG request that you help me with any suggestions regarding the omitted locations, because it is a shame to overlook the efforts of some people to bring added value to the coffee market in our country. Obviously there are many other places where industrial roasting takes place, the coffee takes on a specific brand and ends up in bars or supermarkets. I would like to omit this category from the list, because we are interested in places where we can constantly purchase, as private individuals, small quantities of coffee roasted for one, two, three days. Attention, we have separated the roasters and their direct sales points, from the points of presence in various locations created with the help of other economic agents, firstly because a low sales volume of the distributor will lead to the coffee remaining on the shelf beyond the term considered «fresh» (1-3 weeks), and secondly because the diversity of the assortment may not be identical to the roaster’s portfolio. That’s why it’s safer to call the bakery directly, but you can check for yourself if they really have freshly roasted coffee in the participating stores.
The order of the pastries is alphabetical, so as not to disappoint anyone, except in the capital, where there are most of them. The red pastry shop also has discounts for Espressoman:
